I’ve been thinking of switching my broadband provider for awhile now as I have found their customer service to be a bit difficult to deal with. So I decided to compare broadband providers by doing a bit of online window shopping (get it, using windows? Never mind) with broadbandgenie.co.uk.

Never mind the broadband deals themselves, have you seen how many mobile broadband providers there are out there? When on earth did that become so popular?

I’ll swear when I looked a little while ago mobile broadband was some slow, expensive clunky thing that only the proper tech geeks would think of getting. Now it seems they are cheap, plentiful, great reception and actually quite fast judging by the specs.

So rather than trust a couple of sales pages I called up a rather tech savvy mate. Turns out the sales page is right, mobile broadband has become the next big thing without me even noticing it, how did that happen? And When?

Either way I am determined not to be left behind this time. I’m going to sort myself out right now and, hopefully, my next blog post will be from somewhere a bit more exciting than my office desk!
