Central Asia flights can be expensive if you don’t know where to look
People from Europe or North American are often fascinated by Asia, but they don’t know how to book a trip they can afford. The best advice is to start by looking for discount flights to India, and then go from there. Usually the best deals will be for flying into Mumbai, which is the largest city in the country and also has the busiest airport. From Europe the deals can be quite tempting as long as you don’t try to book your whole journey into a smaller region all at once.
Many people from Europe and Israel want to head to Goa during the winter because the place is famous for raves and DJ culture, and it is also one of the capitals of hippie culture in the world. Goa is quite a bit south of Mumbai, and there are frequent flights between the two places, but you are probably better off booking a separate ticket on a discount airline, or taking the train once you arrive in Mumbai. If you try to book a flight all the way to Goa from Europe you’ll have to change planes in Mumbai anyway, and you’ll probably pay a fortune for the privilege.
